Addition and Cabana

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consisted of a garage addition which included an ADU bedroom suite upstairs with a kitchenette/bar, and a finished area downstairs with a half bath, a mud room, and a conditioned workshop. The existing home had a custom imported synthetic slate roof covering. The project also featured new home integration controls for lighting and sound. 

In the new garage area, the project included a custom dog washing station complete with an RF-controlled automatic doggy door. We also built a poolside cabana with shiplap details, vaulted ceiling, a custom thin TV cabinet, standing seam metal roof, and copper gutters. We sourced and integrated the travertine stone to match the existing pool deck. With the hot summer weather here in the lowcountry, this cabana will surely be a go-to spot for decades to come.
